The objective is to bring a short list of the potentially most commercially-important species to the rules. This will be achieved by reviewing the partner laboratory questionnaires on species of interest and reviewing emerging experimental data, including from the published literature. On the basis of this pooled information, 10 species will be brought to the rules through either 'comparative testing' or data and methods analysis followed by recommendation of acceptance of approach.
